Valentines Day Eye Makeup Tutorial!

So Valentines Day is just around the corner and I think it's a great time to create some really lovely eye makeup designs. Whether you are going out, or just spending it snuggled up, here is a great makeup look for the day of lovers!

I started off by applying my normal base routine. My Baby Skin Primer from Maybelline, my Maybelline 'Super Stay 24hr' foundation, and my Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder. I then added a soft blush (which isn't normal for me) and the one I used is MUA's 'Candyfloss'.

Then onto the eyes. I started by using Nyx's Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' as my base and brought this up to my brow bone. I then took the shade 'Paranoia' from the Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette on my Morphe M502 and blended that up from my crease as a transition shade.

Using the same brush I then went over 'Paranoia' with the shade 'Gossip' but didn't bring it as far up the eye. I also blended this slightly over the outer corner of my eye.

I then took my BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette and used the shade 'Aphrodite' on my Morphe brush M139 and concentrated this into the crease of the eye and slightly on the outer corner. I also bought this colour under my eyes and blended it out to the middle.

Using 'Paranoia', I bought this over the rest of my eyelid, although I left the inner corner, as I then used 'Bump' from the UD Spectrum palette on the inner corner and to highlight my brow bone. As usual, I used my felt tip liner (I used the Miss Sporty 'Cat Eyes') to line my upper lash line and created a wing.

I used my Rosie for Autograph 'Big Dreams' mascara to finish the eye look, although I think some false lashes would really look great and flirty too!

For the lips I used my Baby Lips 'Pink Shock' to just add a nice wash of colour! I also curled my hair and I think this just made the look really feminine and pretty!

I'm so happy with how this look turned out and I will definitely use it when I'm feeling a little girly! let me know if you like this look, or if you have any makeup looks planned for Valentines Day!

Speak to you soon!
