SUICIDE SQUAD | JOKER Inspired Makeup Look!

Hello! So Suicide Squad is finally here! I cannot wait to go and see it! I know it's a little bit late since it came to cinemas but I had some designs to think about and had to shop for a few new products! As usual, I wanted to incorporate pieces of the look but still make it appropriate to wear out on an almost daily basis. While this isn’t exactly wearable for every day, it is possible to wear when going out for a night or when dressing up, as it’s quite bold. So let’s have a look!

So as always, I started off by applying my bases. My primer, my foundation and my powder. If you want detail on my products I've written a blog post about it, click here to check it out!

Then, using a fluffy brush I applied a dark/olive green to my entire eyelid and blended it up into my crease. I used my Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked palette for this.
Colour used is 5th from the right.

I then applied a lighter green on my lid just to make it stand out more. I used a colour from the Beauty UK palette for this. The darker green underneath tones down the light green and makes it more earthy and grungy.

I then intensified the darker green, to give more definition and depth to the eyes.
I then used a pencil brush to apply the same olive coloured eyeshadow under my eyes.

Once the shadow was blended out I used my Barry M red kohl pencil to add just under the lower lash line for extra definition. I used it very sparingly as I didn't want to look like I'd been crying all morning! After I applied a little bit of the red I blended it out using the same pencil brush.

Once everything was blended out I used a purple felt liner from Collection to apply a cat eye to my lid.

I then applied the light, shimmery white/silver in the Romantic Smoked palette and used this as my highlight in the inner corner of my eye and under my brow bone. I also applied my Mary Kay mascara to my lashes to create a more defined look!

And that's it! It's all finished! I really like this look, it incorperates the colours of Jared Leto's character but also makes it darker, and almost dirty in a way. I really enjoy this look and I think I will be wearing this when I go to see the film! Let me know if you have any other inspired looks or if you try this one out! Also, let me know what you think of the film, but no spoilers! I haven't seen it and I want to be surprised! So I hope you enjoyed this look, keep on scrolling for some more pictures and I'll speak to you in my next post!
