Bedroom Wishlist

For the past month or so, I have been planning to swap rooms at home and redecorate. This is the reason for the sparseness of posts over the past week, decorating has just been non-stop and it has completely drained me! I want a double bed and the room I have at the moment is just not big enough, so I am swapping the spare room for my room, and I have been getting SO excited about it and looking at what new furniture and d├ęcor I could fill my new room with! Here are some of the things I have thought would look great and really want to get!

It doesn't seem a couple of days ago since I wrote my spring nail polish favourites! But now, it is summer, and I can share with you the colours that I love wearing in the (supposed) sunshine!

Films Watched in July

  1. I Spit On Your Grave: As you may have noticed by now, I LOVE horror films. My bf recommended this to me and we finally got to watch it. It was really good and I loved how *spoiler* the girl planned their deaths through what they did to her! It was a great horror film and definitely did have some cringe-worthy gore moments! If you haven't seen this and you are in to creative deaths I'd definitely give it a go, but I'd be cautious if you are sensitive towards sexual assault. Rating: ★★★★★
  2. Blankman: This is a film by one of the writers of the Scary Movie films. It follows a guy and his brother, who wants to help fight crime after he creates a bulletproof suit. It follows their story about being almost-superheros and what problems they face while doing so. It was worth a watch and was funny, it put comedy where it needed it, but also made you feel compassionate about the characters throughout. Rating: ★★★★
  3. The Starving Games: You might have guessed that this is spoof for The Hunger Games, but it was actually really funny! It did relate a lot to the film, which I like because it meant that it wasn't just loosely based on it. There were lots of other film references in it too, and it did make me laugh quite a lot! It's easy to follow and worth a watch if you need a bit of cheering up!  Rating: ★★★★
New films watched: 13/101

So I haven't watched as many new films as I would have hoped this month, but it is still progress! Have you seen any of these films? Let me know!

Until next time...

I Heart Makeup Unicorn Hearts Highlighter

Now, you may not know, but I'm NOT a highlighter type of gal! My face gets pretty shiny throughout the day, and the last thing I want is to look more like I'm 'glowing', but when I saw this highlighter, I could not resist and had to pick it up!

Primark Silicone Sponge | Review

Since I found out that Primark were doing their own version of a Silicone Sponge I've been hunting high and low to find one in a shop near me! I finally found one (even though the pack only had 1 in instead of 2 so I got a cheeky discount!) and I couldn't wait to try it out! Find out what I thought of it here...
